Board Member Duties

We are always looking for people to join our board of directors. We put this page together so you can understand what we ask of our board. If you are interested, please reach out to Keith Turgeon about the process.

• Understand that joining the board is a real work commitment. There are tasks that have to be done monthly, some positions are weekly or even daily, that must get completed. If you are not able to actually commit to helping, this is not something you should consider.
• You need to be a self-directed person that can take on tasks with little to no direction or training. We will do our best to help, but many tasks are learn on your own as you go. You have to be able to work on your own to complete tasks and provide updates to the board about your work.
• Ability to try to commit to a 3 Year Term - though you can always still withdraw if needed.
• Attend monthly board meetings on the second Sunday of each month at 7pm via Zoom. These meetings can get rescheduled to other Sundays to avoid holidays or other events.
• Provide monthly updates to the board during the board meetings on your tasks.
• When needed, board members are called upon to handle any adhoc items that we are unable to find volunteers for.
• Important - we are not looking for people to join the board just to provide a "vote" on things you don't like about how the league is run, we are looking for people to accomplish tasks that need to be done.
